2. orders
by placing an order you agree to these terms and confirm that you have read them. the contract is formed when we confirm your order via email.
we reserve the right to decline or cancel an order in the event of:
- an obvious pricing error (typo, system glitch)
- product unavailability (out of stock)
- suspected fraudulent order
if an order is cancelled after payment has been received, we will refund the full amount within 5 business days.
3. prices & payment
all prices include VAT. payment is processed online by card and is charged immediately before the order is dispatched – goods are shipped only after successful payment. you'll receive a confirmation email after payment.
when offering a discount or promotion, we always display the lowest price at which the product was offered in the last 30 days, in compliance with consumer protection law.
4. shipping
orders are typically dispatched within 1–2 business days of receiving payment. shipping within czechia is free. delivery usually takes 1–3 business days. during periods of high demand or for operational reasons, dispatch may take longer – in such cases, we will notify you by email. missinghue s.r.o. is not liable for delays caused by the shipping carrier.
the risk of damage to the goods passes to the buyer upon receipt of the shipment from the carrier. if you receive a damaged package, we recommend filing a claim with the carrier and contacting us immediately.
5. returns
return conditions:
- items must be in original condition, unused and undamaged
- trying the wallet (inspecting it, inserting a card) is perfectly fine – similar to how you would try it in a physical store
- items with visible signs of wear (carrying in pocket, bending, staining) cannot be accepted for a full refund – tyvek naturally changes with use and a used wallet cannot be resold as new. in such cases, we are entitled to reduce the refund by an amount corresponding to the decrease in value (§ 2861(1) of the czech civil code)
- return shipping costs are covered by the buyer
- refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item, using the original payment method
6. warranty & claims
all products come with a statutory 24-month warranty from the date of delivery. whether a defect qualifies as a manufacturing defect is determined by missinghue after physical inspection of the returned wallet in prague. in case of dispute, czech law applies.
we consider the following to be manufacturing defects:
- print defects (smudging, missing parts of the design, misaligned pattern)
- material defects upon delivery (holes, tears, visible damage inconsistent with the product description)
- strap tearing off without reasonable force
- glued surfaces coming apart during normal use
- batch-wide print defect (not individual wear)
- delivery of a different design than ordered
the warranty does not cover:
- natural aging of the material (see section 7)
- mechanical damage (cuts, burns, tears caused by force)
- water damage beyond the material's splash resistance
- damage from chemicals, animals, or high heat
- unauthorized repair or modification
- wallets purchased outside missinghue.com
- loss or theft
claims process:
- email hello (at) missinghue.com with a description, photos, and order number
- we will confirm receipt within 5 business days and send instructions
- send the wallet to our address in prague, inbound shipping at your cost
- we assess the claim within 30 calendar days of receipt
- if accepted, you choose between repair and replacement with the same variant. if the way you pick is impossible or disproportionately expensive we offer the other one, and if the defect persists or is substantial we refund the purchase price
- we cover return shipping for accepted claims
this warranty applies in the czech republic and all EU countries we deliver to. outside the EU, we handle claims on a case-by-case basis.
7. material & its properties
our wallets are made from tyvek® (high-density polyethylene fiber developed by dupont). this material naturally changes with regular use – it softens, develops creases, and gradually acquires a unique patina. these characteristics are an intentional part of the product's design.
we openly present these properties on the product page, including photographs of wallets after several months of daily use (see the "material & care" section). by placing an order, you acknowledge that:
- softening of the material from carrying in a pocket, wallet, or bag is an expected property
- creases, folds, and patina are a natural part of the material's aging process
- minor color variations at fold points are normal
the above are not considered defects under czech consumer law and cannot be grounds for a warranty claim.
8. product images
photographs on our website represent the products as accurately as possible. however, due to individual monitor and display settings, actual colors may differ slightly from what is shown on screen. this is not grounds for a claim.
9. copyright & content protection
all original wallet designs, graphics, photographs, texts, and other content on missinghue.com are copyrighted works of missinghue s.r.o. and are protected under czech copyright law (act no. 121/2000 coll.). any copying, reproduction, or distribution without prior written consent is prohibited.
tyvek® as a material is not our invention. what is our original work is the specific construction of the wallet – its shape, folding method, bonding technique, card capacity, and overall functional design. equally protected are our graphic designs, the missinghue brand identity, and all website content.
10. limitation of liability
we do not limit our liability towards you as a consumer in advance. we are liable to the extent the law provides, and a term capping your right to compensation in advance would be disregarded under section 2898 of the czech civil code in any case. what we are not liable for is damage we did not cause, meaning damage arising from using the wallet for something it is not meant for.
11. changes to terms
these terms may be updated from time to time. the version in effect at the time of placing your order applies to that order. the current version is always available on this page.
12. governing law
these terms are governed by the laws of the czech republic. for anything at all, reach out to us at hello (at) missinghue.com.
for out-of-court dispute resolution, the czech trade inspection authority, gorazdova 1969/24, 120 00 prague 2, is the competent body. the european online dispute resolution (odr) platform was shut down on 20 july 2025.
1. scope
these terms apply to custom merch orders – wallets with your own logo or design, placed via the merch page form or by email. for regular wallet purchases in the store, the main terms & conditions apply.
2. how it works
merch orders are handled outside the standard checkout. the process:
- send us your logo, brand colors, desired quantity, and timeline
- receive a complimentary design mockup within a few days
- after mockup approval and payment, production begins
- delivery across the EU
3. minimum order & volume pricing
the minimum order quantity is 50 pieces across all packages. for orders of 150 pieces or more, we prepare a tailored pricing proposal reflecting the scope of the project, design complexity, and required delivery timeline. we're happy to discuss the details based on your inquiry.
4. pricing
all prices on the merch page are listed excluding VAT. the final price depends on the selected package, quantity, and any additional services – you'll receive an exact quote in response to your inquiry. we issue proper tax invoices with all required details. EU VAT-registered companies may receive invoices under the reverse charge mechanism where applicable.
5. payment terms
payment is made based on an issued invoice. the standard payment term is 14 calendar days from the date of issue, unless otherwise agreed. production begins exclusively after payment has been received – until then, the order is registered but does not enter the production queue.
in case of late payment, we reserve the right to:
- suspend the start of production until payment is received
- charge statutory late-payment interest pursuant to § 1970 of the czech civil code
- withdraw from the contract unilaterally if payment is more than 30 days overdue
for repeat orders from verified partners, production before payment may be arranged on a case-by-case basis, based on a purchase order with a confirmed payment term.
6. returns & claims
we consider the following to be production defects: incorrect or low-quality print, damaged material, discrepancy with the approved mockup. in such cases, we will provide resolution through re-production or a refund – contact us at hello (at) missinghue.com. every piece undergoes quality inspection before dispatch.
7. design approval
no order goes into production without your written approval of the mockup (email is sufficient). revisions are unlimited for the custom and premium packages. by approving the final design, you confirm the product's appearance – modifications are not possible once production has begun. if you request changes after approval that require new production, these will be treated as a new order.
8. delivery timelines
the indicative delivery time is 2–3 weeks from mockup approval and payment. the actual delivery date depends on order volume, current production capacity, and the selected package (premium includes priority production). the exact timeline is agreed individually and confirmed in writing. missinghue s.r.o. is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (supplier disruptions, shipping complications, force majeure).
9. client's intellectual property
by submitting your logo and design assets, you confirm that you hold the rights to use them and that their application on our product does not infringe upon the rights of any third party. missinghue s.r.o. bears no liability for any third-party claims arising from the content of the provided materials. we retain your design files for potential reorders and do not use them for any other purpose without your consent.

all original wallet designs created by missinghue s.r.o. (the miniwallet collection and others) are our copyrighted works protected under czech copyright law (act no. 121/2000 coll.). tyvek® as a material is not our invention. what is our original work is the specific construction of the wallet – its shape, folding method, bonding technique, card capacity, and overall functional design. equally protected are our graphic designs, the missinghue brand identity, and all content on missinghue.com. any copying, reproduction, or distribution of our original designs and construction methods without prior written consent is prohibited.
11. material & its properties

by ordering merch, you acknowledge that the end recipients of the wallets will be informed of these material properties through the product description on missinghue.com. claims based on natural material changes (softening, creasing, patina, minor color variations at fold points) will not be accepted.
12. liability & limitations
towards business customers, meaning orders placed in the course of business, the total liability of missinghue s.r.o. is limited to the value of that order. this limitation does not apply to consumers. we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or consequential damages arising from the use of the product. this limitation does not apply where prohibited by law.

we are not required to appoint a data protection officer. our managing director answers your questions directly.
2. what data we process
- orders: name, email, shipping and billing address, phone, order and payment details
- payment: handled by shopify payments and the payment provider you choose; we never see your full card number
- customer account: login details and order history, if you create an account
- website visits: ip address, browser and device details, pages viewed and cookies (details in the cookies tab)
- newsletter: your email and confirmation of your sign-up, only if you subscribe
- contact form: the details and message you send us
- reviews: name, email and your review text, if you write one
we need your order and delivery details to fulfil your order. everything else is voluntary.
3. why we process it and on what basis
- contract: processing your order, delivery, invoicing, warranty claims and withdrawals (art. 6(1)(b) gdpr)
- legal obligation: accounting, tax and keeping records (art. 6(1)(c) gdpr)
- legitimate interest: fraud prevention, protecting forms from spam, website security and establishing or defending legal claims (art. 6(1)(f) gdpr)
- consent: newsletter and analytics and marketing cookies (art. 6(1)(a) gdpr); you can withdraw consent at any time
- review requests: after delivery you get an email asking you to review the product (judge.me) and the store (trustpilot). this is based on legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f) gdpr and § 7(3) of czech act no. 480/2004 coll.) and you can opt out at any time, with the link in the email or by writing to hello (at) missinghue.com.
4. how long we keep it
- orders and invoices: as long as czech law requires, up to 10 years for tax records
- contact form messages: until resolved, then for up to 3 years
- newsletter: until you unsubscribe; we keep proof of your consent for the limitation period afterwards, at most 3 years
- customer account: until you ask us to delete it
- reviews: for as long as the review is published; you can ask us to remove it at any time
- cookies: for the period listed in the cookies tab
5. who we share it with
we share data only as far as each purpose requires:
- shopify international ltd., ireland: store platform, hosting and sending order and newsletter emails
- shopify payments and the payment provider you choose, including klarna bank ab (publ), sweden: payment processing and, for some payment methods, a credit check
- zásilkovna s.r.o. (packeta), czech republic, and its delivery partners: delivering your parcel
- judge.me ltd., united kingdom: product reviews and review requests
- trustpilot a/s, denmark: store reviews and review requests
- google ireland ltd., ireland: traffic measurement (google analytics) and ad performance measurement (google ads), only with your consent
- meta platforms ireland ltd., ireland: measuring ad performance on facebook and instagram (meta pixel), only with your consent
- intuition machines, inc. (hcaptcha), usa: protecting forms from bots
- godaddy operating company, llc, usa: the email inbox that receives form messages
- our accountant and public authorities, where the law requires it
to show ratings, payment options, the pickup point picker and form protection, our pages load elements from trustpilot, klarna, packeta and hcaptcha, and these services receive your browser's ip address when they do.
we don't sell your data. for the meta pixel we are joint controllers with meta platforms ireland ltd. for collecting and transmitting the data (art. 26 gdpr); what meta does with it afterwards is governed by meta's own policy.
6. transfers outside the eea
some of these providers also process data outside the european economic area, mainly in canada, the united kingdom and the usa. this relies on a european commission adequacy decision (for the usa, the eu-us data privacy framework) or on the european commission's standard contractual clauses. we'll send you a copy of these safeguards on request.
7. cookies and consent
cookies the store needs to work don't require consent, because the cart and checkout don't function without them. analytics and marketing cookies and similar technologies only switch on after you agree in the cookie banner. you can change your choice at any time in cookie settings.
8. newsletter
after you sign up, you first get an email with a confirmation link, and we only add you to the list once you confirm. you can unsubscribe with the link in every email or by writing to hello (at) missinghue.com.
9. automated decisions
we don't make automated decisions or do profiling under art. 22 gdpr. payment providers may run their own checks for the payment method you choose, and each provider explains these itself.
10. your rights
you have the right to access your data (art. 15 gdpr), to correct it (art. 16), to erase it (art. 17), to restrict its processing (art. 18) and to data portability (art. 20). you can withdraw consent at any time, which doesn't affect processing that happened before.
right to object: you can object at any time to processing based on legitimate interest (art. 21(1) gdpr). you can object to direct marketing, including review requests, at any time and without giving a reason (art. 21(2) gdpr).
for anything at all, email us at hello (at) missinghue.com and we'll reply within one month. if a request is complex and we need more time, we'll let you know.
you also have the right to complain to the czech data protection authority (úoou), pplk. sochora 27, 170 00 prague 7, or to the authority in the country where you live.

where our reviews come from
there are two kinds of reviews on missinghue.com, and we label them differently. we also collect shop ratings through trustpilot, where trustpilot checks authenticity by its own rules and we have no hand in it.
reviews with a verified purchase. once an order is delivered, our review tool judge.me sends an automatic invitation to the email address the order was placed with. a review left through that link is tied to the order and carries the "verified" label. for these, the link to an order in our shop is established technically, not by us.
reviews without a verified purchase. some feedback reaches us another way, as a message on instagram or by email. when we publish it, we ask the author first and name the source. no order can be matched to it technically, so we do not label it as verified.
what we don't do. we don't buy reviews, we don't write them ourselves, and we don't pay anyone for one. we don't remove a review for being critical. we remove one only if it is abusive or unlawful, clearly refers to someone else's product, or contains another person's personal data. the homepage shows a selection we picked. every published review for a product, critical ones included, is on the product page in full.
